I Like My Bathroom Changing Table Like I Like My Father Figures…
Present.
And I wanted to highlight the locations that I have found as a new dad that I can change my child’s diaper in the bathroom without having to put them on the floor — an all too common occurrence for parents. Here are some of my favorite places to go that pass this test! (This is strictly personal opinion and nobody has paid for this)
Restaurants
Open Rice at Metropolitan
What is better than table side cart service dim sum (on the weekends)? A restaurant where you can bring your child and not have to take them out to the car to change them! Not only are the food and drink options amazing, the facilities and service make it a great experience all around. Check them out on Instagram at openricemet or online at http://www.openriceclt.com
OMB
Or if you prefer its full name: The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten. If you need a great local beer, tasty food, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to relax, along with markets and events all throughout the year this is the place. Even better, is that they have changing tables ready to go in their bathrooms, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN’S BATHROOMS! This is a great spot to unwind or connect with friends and a must have on this list!

Madison Perk
Self proclaimed coffee shop, cocktail bar, and music venue, Madison Perk is the perfect place to stop in as a family for either a quick grab and go (use the app for order ahead options!) or for a longer break in your day. Not only are the bathrooms ready to handle your infant changing needs, there are family seating options in their main dining area that have games and activities ready and waiting for the little ones to be entertained. Make sure to follow their socials and learn about all of the great open mic and other various entertainment events that are in the books all year long! Instagram: themadperk

1. Be Positive!
Social media is full of enough complaints all ready. Keep the comments limited to who are doing things well! That is who we want to highlight. Send your complaints directly to a business you have issues with, they can actually do something about it.

2. Leave Their Social Media/Contact Info!
What is better than doing something well? You guessed it! Being told you did something well! Let’s make it easy for people to share appreciation to those who are making great choices in their designs.
